   I grew up in El Palmar fixing my neighbors’ bicycles. At 17 I turned one Nintendo into a rental business with more than three TVs and consoles.

   Marketing first

   I moved to New York and started in marketing. A real estate entrepreneur asked me to handle Soulja Boy’s marketing — that is how I learned the music business.

4. 2014 · Soulja Boy

   The first plaque

   Together we made “We Made It”, the record that put Soulja Boy back in the spotlight — and my first platinum plaque.

5. The Latin market

   One email, one DM

   After many unanswered emails, Juan Magán was the first big Latin artist to open the door. A DM to Flow La Movie opened the industry: from the “AM” music video with Nio García to dozens of placements.

6. Today

   Building the house

   Four companies, studios in five cities, 2.5B+ streams across my collaborations, a voting seat at the Recording Academy — and a book to share what I learned.
